I’m Jonny, a level 2 & 3 qualified Personal trainer, I qualified over 8 years ago after recovering from major spinal surgery.

For my recovery, I explored a combination of pilates, weight lifting, calisthenics and gymnastics to build the strength, flexibility and mobility that allowed me to defy the initial outlook post surgery. I bring this experience to my work, developing varied and safe programmes. 

As a queer person I know how intimidating gyms can be, so I provide a non-judgemental and encouraging space for us to train together, and achieve whatever goal you have.

Averyone can and should be strength training in some capacity, particularly as we age.

All bodies need muscle strength, particularly as we get older and they change. The barrier to Calisthenics and weight lifting is perception, but it’s not all super human feats and both are accessible to everyone. 

Wall press ups, Knee press ups, band pull ups, planks, simply engaging your core and many more accessible bodyweight strength exercise form the foundations.

Alongside weight focused training we’ll build your confidence and strength, helping you to progress from wherever you are. Making you stronger, move better and enjoy what your body is capable of.
